William Francis Conolly-Carew, 6th Baron Carew was born on 23 April 1905.1 He was the son of Gerald Shapland Carew, 5th Baron Carew and Catherine Conolly.2 He married Lady Sylvia Gwendoline Eva Maitland, daughter of Ian Colin Maitland, 15th Earl of Lauderdale and Ethel Mary Bell-Irving, on 3 June 1937.1 He died on 27 June 1994 at age 89.3
He was given the name of William Francis Carew at birth.1 He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Carew of Castle Boro co. Wexford [U.K., 1838] on 3 October 1927.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Carew, of co.
