Vice-Admiral Hon. Arthur Charles Strutt was born on 2 October 1878.1 He was the son of John William Strutt, 3rd Baron Rayleigh of Terling Place and Evelyn Georgiana Mary Balfour.1 He married Baroness Irene Blanche Nicolette van Brienen, daughter of Baron Arnoud Nicolaas Justinus van Brienen, in December 1934.1 He died on 10 February 1973 at age 94, without issue.1
He was educated at H.M.S. Roderick John Ward were divorced in 1947.1 She married, secondly, Sir Richard Llewellyn Barwick, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John Storey Barwick, 2nd Bt. and Gwladys Jessie Thomas, on 26 July 1948.3 She and Sir Richard Llewellyn Barwick, 3rd Bt. were divorced in July 1968.4 She married, thirdly, Colonel Walter Lancaster Hey in 1972.5 She died on 9 May 1989.3
She was a film actress.3 Valerie Maud Skelton used the stage-name of Valerie Ward.3 Her married name became Ward. From 26 July 1948, her married name became Barwick.3 From 1972, her married name became Hey.5
