Welcome to 2xpotochallenge, an icon challenge community celebrating the stage and 2004 film production of the Phantom of the Opera.

Rules -All entries must fit Livejournal standards (100x100, under 40kb, .jpg, .gif or .png)
-All effects (text, brushes, textures) are allowed, except animation
-Follow the individual rules for each challenge
-There will be a specific post titled Challenge # for each challenge
-Do not enter an icon you've previously made, or show your entry anywhere else before voting is over. It's a pain if you have a really good icon you want to show people, but let's try to make this contest as unbiased as possible, shall we?

Submission -You must be a member of this community to enter
-Submit your icon in the entry that is titles Challenge #
-Upload your icon to a host that allows direct linking, like imageshack.us
-All icons will be screened
-Submit your icons with the image and the url, like

Timeline
All entries are due by Friday at 8 EST. Voting begins afterwards and lasts until Sunday, when the winners are announced. New challenges begin Saturday.
