Hello! Welcome to the community 5 True Loves, a community that recognizes that you may not like just one pairing for a character, but perhaps 5! This community is loosely inspired by 30_kisses which sort of started them all! However, there are some notable differences! Please read the rules below for the differences!

R U L E S

  1. No flaming! This is of utmost importance. If we catch you flaming for any reason you will be removed and banned accordingly.

  2. Please choose one character, for the duration of your 5 fics this character will be yours to pair with whom you will. However, people may borrow your character to use in one of their pairings. For example, say you choose Kenshin and someone else chooses Kaoru. Now, you might want to use Kaoru as one of your pairings, and they may want to use Kenshin for one of their pairings. That's fine. You may chose up to 2 characters, but they have to be from different fandoms. Update: Up to 2 people may now claim the same character.

  3. The object here is to explore different pairings for a character. Your goal is to write five different pairings for that character, however, should you feel you can't come up 5 you may write the same pairing twice. However, you must have 3 different pairings in your five.You write 5 fics, chosing from the 30 themes . . . there are 30 themes so that if you want to do it again you can have choice!

  4. Choose a theme from the list below. Make sure you label what theme you use. There are far more than five to give you a choice, and so that if you want to do another character you have more of a choice. :D
    Posts should be structured like this:

Fandom: Title: Author/Artist: Theme: Pairing/Characters: Rating: Disclaimer/claimer: Notes/Summary:

  1. Please put all long posts (ie over 200 words) behind a cut. It just makes for easier reading. This goes for pictures as well.

  2. Original characters are perfectly ok, just tell us that they are OCs so that we can mark them as such. Pairings can be OC/OC, OC/Character, and characters can be from any fandom in existence. Also, any fandom, not just anime/manga is welcome. Crossovers as well. :)
    Note: Please, if you are writing an OC, tell me which fandom the OC is for. If it is for an original story, tell me that too, with the title.

  3. Art is acceptable, should you choose that route. The character you choose must be in the fic or the picture, and character claims apply to both art and writing. The exception rule also applies.

  4. The themes are yours to interpret. Just make sure that love is involved, as that is the over arching theme to this community. :)

  5. Plagerism is not tolerated. That should go without saying.

  6. Please put all high rated things behind cuts and make sure they are labeled. This goes for yaoi and yuri and het as well. All ratings and pairings are accepted, just keep them labeled so that people can avoid as they will.

  7. Collaborations are allowed, but only up to three people.

  8. Please post at least every two months. We believe this is a fair amount of time. If you cannot, for some reason, post during the two month times period, please contact the mods and let them know. It's just so we know you're not dead. :)
