For the explorers of California, we are interested in what is left behind by others, the urban (and sometimes rural) ruins.
Welcome to Abandoned_CA.
the one stop shop for all elft behind in california,
we have only a few rules, and those are just to
ensure the that community remain functional.
Rules time.
(READ them. They're actually important, unlike DO NOT ENTER signs.)1. No being an ass. You are, and you're banned.
2. Please only post abandoned locations in california, also, please post the LOCATION, as exactly as you can, even down to adress, part of the whole reason I wanted to make this community is the simple fact I know a great number of people who love exploring abandoned places, but finding such places was always a pain. This community is to share locations, and finds, also to notify if a locations is unsafe, condemed (like that would stop most of us), security around the buildings, any possible photographs, tips for getting in. and other helpful facts. 3. We do NOT promote illegal tresspassing. (In other words, don't get caught when you do, and warn us if it's at the location, so we can... be law abiding citizens too.)4. Advertising other communities is fine - for now. If it gets out of hand, it will no longer be allowed. We'd prefer if you promoted communities relevant to this one. A peepshow community is probably not to our interest. At least that we'll admit.5. In the subject of each post, PLEASE place the city name of your found location.
6. We are not Off Topic Nazis. Feel free to chatter in your posts, but if something is REALLY really not at ALL related to the community, it's subject to deletion at our whimsy. Because we can.
7. I'm afraid cars don't count, unless it's a REALLY extraordinarily, fantastically, amazingly interesting one, and not just to you. Use your judgement here.
And finally, your mod is wordfinding, I'm not asking for god status, I'm asking for respect.
