What is Alternative Ale?

Its a community for people who are into an alternative lifestyle like rock, punk, goth, metal, indie etc that also enjoy a good pint of reale ale, real cider or locally produced wines and spirits. Basically anything that isn't full of fizz and tasteless.

Feel free to discuss beer festivals, favourite ales, recommend pubs, request pubs when your visitng strange towns, pub reviews, ale reviews the normal etc.
