Welcome to Anthrophoto. This is a community for posting pictures of people in everyday life. It's for those of us who like to "people watch" and study others while they interact with the world around us. It's a place for fieldwork photos in the strictest anthropological sense, but also for the less formal candid pictures we take of others. Please post only pictures you have taken yourself or have permission to post. Also, please submit pictures with minimum editing. Altering for contrast, size, framing, and the like are fine, but please no photo-shopped images. Though any pictures of anyone and everyone are welcome, please keep it responsible. If it's large, cut it. If it's obscene, cut it and warn us. The intention of this community is to illustrate the great diversity in all of us and the wonderful similarities and differences all around the world. Self portraits are welcome, but please don't post your personal ads or expect to be rated, there are other communities to show yourself off in. This is a place to show us the people you know or don't know. Show us the people around you on a daily basis. This isn't a strict community, so if it is a photo of something else you are particularly proud of, show it to us!
