| I think there are too many doctors allowed to give prescriptions who shouldn't because they don't know what they're really doing. Growing up as a US military dependent, you learn that Motrin (ibuprofen) is a magical cure-all. No matter what your illness, be it viral, bacterial, strain, stress, or breakage of bones, the doctors ALWAYS prescribe it. It's gotten so bad that the guys just call it Vitamin M now. It used to be the same with penicillin, but they finally realized that bacteria were becoming immune to it because of it's overuse. Here's to modern medicine! |
