Welcome to the ateamfanfic community! This is a posting community, where anyone may post links to stories already located their personal LiveJournal, or directly into the comm.
We’re open to everyone who loves the 1980s A-Team TV show or the more recent 2010 movie. We accept all kinds of fic, to include RPS/RPF, and you may post stories as a whole, or as a WIP (in chapters). The only requirement is that posters follow a few simple rules, just to keep everything neat and tidy, and for the consideration of their fellow writers/readers.
The following format MUST be used when posting to the comm.
Title: (add chapter number here if applicable)
Author:
Rating: (Please use G through NC-17.)
Summary: (of what the story is about)
Warnings: (ie, violence, character death, language)
Genre: (ie, Angst, Comedy, General, Real-Person, Crossover, etc.)
Character/Pairing: (ie, Face/Murdock, Amy/Face, Amy/Tawnia, Murdock, BA, Hannibal, etc...)

A few things to note when posting. Don't forget to have your subject line as "Title of Fic" (characters included, rating, if its a crossover please include the crossover fandom) Ex. Murdock Goes Crazy (Murdock, PG). Additionally, ALL relevant warnings MUST be included in the “warnings” line - this includes anything that might be a potential “trigger” for a reader, such as non-con, character death, etc - and include a rating for the fic you’re posting.
ANY STORY THAT FAILS TO INCLUDE RELEVANT WARNINGS WILL BE DELETED IMMEDIATELY. Authors who continue to neglect warnings will receive one warning. A second offense will result in a ban.
And finally, when posting, please use all pertinent tags. If you need to add a tag, feel free to do so, but please follow the existing format in the tags list (ie, character: hm murdock, pairing: murdock/hannibal). Review the tags list before creating a tag, too, to help us prevent duplicates.
You can also rec fics if you want on the comm, but please don't ask anyone to find a fic, there's already a comm dedicated to that, ateamrec. Please use them to find the fanfic you really, really want to read, but can't remember where it is.
If you spot anything on the comm that’s not working properly, especially with all these changes LJ seems to be going through right now, please drop your mod a friendly PM, and she’ll get right on it.
And lastly - although this undoubtedly goes without saying - this is a community for fanfic, not wank or flame wars or anything like that. Please be considerate of your fellow writers. If you have a problem with an author's style of writing, content, or anything else, take it up with them somewhere else, not in the comments section of their post here on the comm. The first offense will result in a warning. The second offense will result in being banned at the discretion of the mods.
