Disability-led learning


Our disability-led training is informed by 22 years of experience supporting live music and outdoor events industries to improve accessibility.

We have trained over 10,000 industry professionals to date, and currently train around 500 people a year across a wide range of sectors.

All of our training is designed and delivered by people with lived experience of access requirements, overseen by our Head of Skills Development Paul Hawkins, who holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and Diploma to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector.

Available Training Offers


Our sessions are interactive and hands-on, including seminar elements, small group work, and practical tools to apply to real-world scenarios.

All of our training can be delivered online or in person for groups from 6-20 people.

Sessions for teams start at £975 for a 3-hour webinar or £1260 in person. We can offer a reduction in fee for charities, non-profits and community engagement companies. Courses can be bundled for additional savings!

We also offer monthly open training sessions if a team session does not suit your circumstances.

Disability, Equality and Customer Service Training

These sessions last 3 hours and aim to provide participants with the necessary tools to ensure that their customer service is inclusive and accessible to disabled people. The nature of our training means we can adapt to a diverse range of customer requirements, developing training for participants at all levels, from directors all the way through to front line staff.

This 3-hour crash course on accessible design aims to provide participants with the foundation to understand access needs so you can plan, budget, and organise an accessible festival or event.

These sessions last 3 hours and aim to provide participants with the necessary tools to ensure that their customer service is inclusive and accessible to a wide range of non-visible impairments. This training aims to provide a solid foundation to recognise the impact of living with non-visible impairments and practical tools to support those with lived experience and to allow those who do to better self-advocate.

Social Model Approaches to Neurodiversity and Mental Health

Our Social Model Approaches to Neurodiversity and Mental Health training courses are separated into two: One directed toward Line Managers, and one directed toward Staff Members, both to provide practical tools to improve the working relationship and understanding of those with lived experience of neurodiversity and mental health conditions.

Each training session is a three-hour session led by an experienced and skilled Disability Equality Trainer with lived experience of an impairment.

Creating an Accessible Workplace Culture

Our course on Creating an Accessible Workplace Culture is aimed at Management Teams, Leadership and HR departments and aims to embed concentrated accessibility principles into your organisational ethos, policies, and recruitment practice. The course is 6 hours long – available as a full day or two half-days and contains the following modules:

Train the Trainer


Our Disability Equality and Customer Service training can be provided as a Train the Trainer course.

This is a great investment for larger organisations who would otherwise require a minimum of three Disability Equality and Customer Service training sessions per year.

Over three days, we will train your Learning and Development Team to deliver our training and provide up to five attendees with a three-year license and training support. The license is renewable after a further day’s refresher training.

Our Train the Trainer clients include the O2 Greenwich Arena, HM Government of Gibraltar, the Scottish Events Campus and Lincs Inspire.
