Official community of AUSAM-Con

In its first incarnation, AUSAM-Con was a one-day convention held January 12, 2008 at Auburn University's Foy Student Union. Sponsored by the campus anime club, Society of Anime and Manga (ausam), officers and members decided that the overwhelming response to this first year convention was enough to officially make AUSAM-Con an annual event.

This year new improvements are underway. The Head Staff are beginning to meet and general volunteer sign-up is about to be submitted for the general public. A theme has been chosen--to be revealed in the near future--and planning has already started. The first innovation for AUSAM-Con '09 will be upgrading it to a TWO (2) DAY convention.

We are always welcome for suggestions and ideas for things you'd like to see at AUSAM-Con. Suggestions can be made to this post, or you can go over to our website www.ausam-con.com and browse around the forums.

Thanks to everyone who made our first year outstanding. We hope this second year proves to be just as fun.
