WELCOME TO THE AUSTRALIAN IDOL COMMUNITY!

(PS - We really do love idol, all jokes aside!)
This is the biggest and, well, the best community for anything Australian Idol related!
What makes it so fantastical?
You can't go wrong with 500+ fabulous members, surely? You might be fans of the entrants, you might be fans of the show, you might be fans of reality TV shows, you might watch purely for the lols. But if you're here - then you're a fan of some kind! And damnit - fans need somewhere to vent!!
Why was this community created?
jazzgoddess started this community back during season 1 - yes that long ago - primarily because it was something she was passionate about and wanted to have a group of people to bitch, moan, celebrate and share the same guilty pleasure for the contestants week by week with. After being a little MIA for a while, aluminiumorange was selected as co-mod, see here.
A few ground rules:
ONE) Posts including blatant discrimination, racism and hate posts/comments, or with no substantiated reasons behind them will NOT be tolerated. Nobody wants to hear "so-and-so SUCKS", or a big vent saying how much you hate a contestant/judge/host etc. - other people WILL and DO get easily offended. If you really feel you have to say something stupid and un-original, please cut-tag these posts. If you want to leave and create your own little community - go nuts because you won't be the first and nobody will miss you if you have a temper tantrum and leave.
TWO) If you have a problem with a mod or a member, don't post about it in the community. Nobody cares.
THREE) Regardless of whether the show is over or not, DO NOT PLUG ANYTHING THAT IS NOT AUSTRALIAN IDOL RELATED. Yes, the community may die off a little between seasons but you risk your post being deleted and yourself being banned from the community. Of course if you can justify your plug....do so.
The singular one and only post you will ever need to concern yourself with on an Idol night. During the week - we're open for general discussion, but on Idol nights (at this stage Sunday nights) - please only comment to the whiteboards. Any other posts will be deleted and your inability to follow rules will be used as an example. There may be ridicule. There may be scorn. I wouldn't risk it.
