2013

In response to a candidate survey, Elliott provided the following goal of his campaign:[3]

"One goal is to ensure that our children continue to receive a quality education, another goal is to see more dollars from the state budget sent to education, specifically for the Adams 12 school district."

In the same survey, Elliott also stated that the following was the largest issue confronting the school district:[3]

"I believe the top issue in 5 years will be the budget. Education is expensive and we need to invest in our children's future (they are the next generation of leaders). One way to do this is to receive more grant money from the federal and state programs. We could also ask the state legislature to increase our budget in upcoming years."
