bard_icons - Profile (original) (raw)
on 30 May 2004 (#3309265)
bard_icons is a community for sharing icons with anything to do with Shakespeare. purple_smurf likes to make pretentious icons with Shakespearean quotes on them, and figured that she couldn't be the only one.
Rules:
- All icons have to have something to do with Shakespeare. They can be from a film adaptaion of one of Shakespeare's plays (examples: 10 Things I Hate About You, Much Ado About Nothing, O, William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet), they can be from an actual stage production of a play, or they can be from your fandom of choice if they have a Shakespeare quote on them.
- No netspeak. It drives anyone over the age of 10 insane.
- When posting more than three icons, please use the lj-cut tag. ALL animated icons need to go behind a cut.
- If you're making an icon from a base someone else made, please ask the icon maker and credit them when you post.
- This is an icon sharing community. Please comment when you take an icon.
And I think that's about it... for now. These rules make be subject to change without notice. Your friendly moderators are purple_smurf and faith_girl222
If there is a problem in the community (spamming, for example), purple_smurf can be contacted via purple_smurf [at] livejournal.com. She can't guarantee that she'll see it right away, as her internet access can be erratic, but will deal with the issue ASAP (she also makes sure bard_icons is on each and every one of her flist filters).
Be sure to check out shakespeareism, run by lumia_glitters for Shakespearean interpretation & discussion!
