Yeah, I know. [Apr. 27th, 2010|10:57 am]This Little Seed
Take it up with Management. You can tell it's Tuesday. Sarcasm and an oblique Carnivale reference. Anyhoo..."The blackbird whirled in the autumn winds. It was a small part of the pantomime." -Wallace Stevens from "Thirteen Ways of Looking At A Blackbird."Time Limit: Tuesday, May **6th.**Word Count: 500-1,000Genre: Author's ChoiceBe grateful I didn't hit up the Book of Jeremiah as I was originally going to.ETA: Sorry guys, I'm a dork this morning. Tuesday May 6th. You're not getting a bloody month.

(no subject) [Dec. 16th, 2009|11:27 am]This Little Seed
I'm having a little trouble coming up with this week's prompt, due to typical holiday stresses and general crap. Everything I've considered looks to just take everyone down a potentially painful path, and that's not something I'm willing to inflict on you guys, at least at this time of year. So, I'm working on it.

So... yeah. [Dec. 11th, 2009|10:08 am]This Little Seed
I gave everybody a week off. It seemed necessary. When a prompt goes up on Monday, per your feedback here, I may give a deadline AFTER the holidays, just because I have brief fits of human emotions such as ::shudder:: compassion. Let me know if you want deadline during the holidays, or I should shelve the seeds until after the traditional New Year.

Anapology to the group [Dec. 7th, 2009|05:27 pm]This Little Seed
[mood** |draineddrained] [music** Ceann: Music of our Fathers]Work and illness have apparently taken their toll - for the second week in a row, I got nothin'. The dribles of prose that I've been able to squeeze out for the past 2 seeds are pretty meh, and don't even amount to a paragraph between them. Hopefully, I'll have a little inspiration to go with next week's seed.

And now.. [Nov. 25th, 2009|12:21 am]This Little Seed
[mood |accomplished]For something completely different.RIGHT!First off, We want you to know that there is NO cannibalism in the Corporate Headquarters, or the 50 branch offices of the Crimson Permanent Assurance group. And when I say that there is none, that is to say that there is hardly any cases of it....Mostly it was one case isolated to our Mortgage Commodities Brokers in Boston, But I assure you that this has had no influence on the corporate policies to incentivize the consumption of profitable corporate entities into the empire of the Crimson Permanent assurance Group, or Sven down in the auditing group who was found snacking on a intern last week. it was all a misunderstanding and it seems to have worked out fine for the both of them. Admiral and CFO G. Crackers, Crimson Permanent Assurance Group.
