What is allowed: Bento/boxed lunches artistically prepared, with an emphasis on Japanese food. Photos and recipes are welcome. Non-Japanese food will be allowed if it is artfully prepared and integrated into a bento lunch such as modern Japanese bento sometimes do.
What is not allowed: Carrot sticks and almonds in a Hello Kitty bento box, ragged, unappetizing sandwiches, a bento box filled with goldfish crackers or other processed foods with no real effort involved, etc. This is a community to learn about cooking and preparing bento lunches, not a general food community.
