1.) COMMENT IF TAKING.
See a graphic, want it, comment when you take it. Easy enough! I really appretiate it when people do this, I just like knowing who likes and may be using my graphics.

2.) CREDIT bethyj_graphics IF USING.
This means I'd really appretiate it if you put bethyj_graphics either in the keyword or comment text area when uploading the icon you're using (to your userpics). If you don't know how to make the LJ link just stick in 'bethyj_graphics' somewhere. If using a header, banner or mood theme you can credit me in your userinfo. It's really not that difficult and it's just a common LJ courtesy.
NOTE: While most of the images I use to make graphics are not mine I don't ask credit for the image, you're crediting me for time and effort put into the graphic as well as the convenience of not having to make it yourself. Don't know how to credit?

3.) PLEASE NO HOTLINKING OR ALTERATIONS.
-Hotlinking means linking directly to MY icon, using up MY bandwidth. You can use the image URL to download the icon to your LJ userpics, but don't put the icon up in your journal or another community using the original URL. If for some reason you want to do that downlaod it to your OWN SERVER & CREDIT bethyj_graphics. I use photobucket, try it.
-Alterations are strictly prohibited. That means changing the icon in ANY WAY. That includes adding text or even just a border. These are my creations, take them or leave them - DO NOT MAKE THEM YOUR OWN.

4.) THIS IS MY COMMUNITY I reserve the right to post any graphic I wish, within reason of course. If you don’t like what I post then go somewhere else, or request something you might like.

5.) NO HATING ON GRAPHIC SUBJECTS. For example I am a Yankee fan, pure and simple. It’s genetic. If you come here and talk trash about the Yankees then you will be banned. If you don’t like the Yankees then don’t look at the posts with Yankee graphics on them! The same goes for any other subject, be it Harry Potter or anything; if you don't like the subject don't look at those graphics.

6.) NOMINATIONS: I've had people ask me if it's ok to nominate some of my icons for hp_awards. If you feel that you'd like to do so please feel free! Whether it's for a Harry Potter awards communities or other. It's definitely a big boost to the ego! I don’t really like putting on every post 'Hey, go ahead and nominate me!', it would sort make it seem like I’m asking for nominations and that’s not me. It makes me feel good to know that people enjoy my icons, I love seeing them all over Livejournal; getting nominated for something is just icing on the cake. :)
