Support for Parents of Children with Birth Defects
This is a community for parents of children born with birth defects. I'm hoping that parents will find support from each other through this community. **I know that the term "birth defect" is broad and some may feel it is a distasteful term. It is commonly known and used though, and covers a lot of conditions.** Many parents of children w/ birth defects have similar concerns and day to day trials. I will be adding to the interests/profile as we go, please give suggestions!
I am concerned with the privacy of this community because I know that some sensitive topics may come up. For now, I will leave the membership open in the interest of increasing membership. I will close it when/if necessary. Please join us if you feel that this community will be helpful or a support to you, or if you think you could be a support to other parents.
I hope to introduce daily topics for discussion, things like that. Let me know if you have a suggestion, or just post :)
