Creating Art For Everyone. |

café is a youth community, quite simply, for making the world a happier place. We hope that getting involved with café will empower youths, increase their capacity for aesthetic appreciation and inject vibrancy to the local arts and (youth) activism scene. We achieve this via several avenues:Firstly, the creation of an online portal (links up soon) where youths share and critique their art pieces (ranging from digital artwork to literary pieces and even seemingly unrelated cooking recipes!). This increases youths’ exposure to a greater range of art and hence indirectly encourages them to get more involved and create their own art. Secondly, the organization of art-related events (e.g. busking and selling of artworks) that also serve to raise awareness and funds for meaningful and creditable causes. |
