this is a daily log of art-
a collection of talented people who showcase their original works. we want artists and writers and muscians of every style and background. it is not about elitism, it is about expression and how well you reflect the human condition.

on posting (members, please read):
intro posts are fine, as long as they are short and a piece of art/writing follows. PLEASE REMEMBER, YOUR POSTS SHOULD BE STRICTLY CREATIVE ART/WRITING. debates and polls on art is acceptable.
catharsis only wants YOUR OWN ORIGINAL works. if you use royalty free pictures in parts of your work, like digital art, then credit the site. we don't want just a royalty free picture with its color changed posted here.
and please.. no teen poetry (ie: bad rhyme on how much you want to murder your ex boyfriend, unless it's done tastefully or with satire, and edgar allen poe imitations). artistic nudity is fine, but three people having it in the ass is not. neither are plain webcam pictures of how cute you want to look.
critiquing of work is a must, no bashing. don't post your work without once in a while commenting.
no hate material. plain and simple.
and last but not least, no angelfire hosted images. go to a site that offers free off-site linking or buy (get hosted at) a domain.
