Although now almost 40 years old, this book is still the only comprehensive study of almost all a... more Although now almost 40 years old, this book is still the only comprehensive study of almost all aspects of food production in Hittite Anatolia. The impetus for the study was a study of the many names for 'bread' types in the texts. But this was expanded to include a survey of all aspects of agriculture, livestock rearing, and the processing and preparation of food. It is now out of print. I will investigate to see if copyright now permits the free distribution of a scan of the book.
