[mood \|ecstatic]I was just discussing this show with someone today. I wish they had re-runs on the channels I currently have through my cable provider. :(I notice that the maintainer has posted episodes before, any chance they will do so again?I'd love to be able to watch at least one episode again sighBut if not, it's cool...I'm glad that there is a community of people on lj that loved the show as much as I did.

ecstatic]I was just discussing this show with someone today. hey i just joined this comm because a friend told me about it...i'm really wanting to see every episode of china beach...i havent seen any, but i love dana delaney and marg helgenberger...so i was wondering if you could post the first season?

I've watched this episode today, and it's been years since I saw it last. God, it was so beautiful and sad! Dodger, as always, broke my heart. This show, there's nothing like it. It's so frustrating to me taht it isn't at all well-known. It should be a given that it's a classic.Shame the internet wasn't what it is today when CB was made - I'm sure it would have had a huge fandom, resources, and they totally would have put it out on DVD :(

I've watched this episode today, and it's been years since I saw it last. God, it was so beautiful and sad! Dodger, as always, broke my heart. This show, there's nothing like it. It's so frustrating to me taht it isn't at all well-known. It should be a given that it's a classic.Shame the internet wasn't what it is today when CB was made - I'm sure it would have had a huge fandom, resources, and they totally would have put it out on DVD :(

I snagged a couple of the episodes that were posted here. I hadn't had time to watch them until lastnight. It was odd how the show affected me so much (I was graduating HS and thinking about college) and how much I was dealing with at the time. HA!! Oh, I'd take that "stress" all over again and just slap it in the face! Course I think things I am dealing with now are a lot more tough and stressful. I suppose it's relative.Anyhow, I really liked the episodes I watched and it brought back a lot of memories. There is one episode in particular that I am looking for (I think it's season 3). But when are they going to release them on DVD??

For anyone else who's based in the UK, starting Tuesday 10pm on Channel 4, Dana Delany will be appearing in Kidnapped and, according to IMDB, is in 6 episodes of this.

I know they had a soundtrack put out for the series, but does anyone know anything about any of the China Beach instrumental pieces being available anywhere? I remember emailing John Sacret Young or one of his minions way back in the day to ask about the possibility but never heard anything back. Some of the instrumental pieces in this series are the most lovely interludes I'd ever heard. Thanks in advance, y'all. This show ROCKED!
