Alas, prospects for CB on DVD do not look good, primarily because of music licensing issues. Even if it did happen, it'd be quite likely that any period music would be stripped out, as happened with the Tour of Duty DVDs (even the icon "Paint It Black" over the opening credits was removed!), an act of creative vandalism that still irritates me to this day - I bought the first set and none of the others.NO NO NO!! The music in CB is half the reason it was so good. They released a songtrack with the songs on it, why can't they release it on DVD. What a bunch of BS.Anyhow, looking for episode "CHINA MEN" if you have it. I may have it on VHS... someplace... hidden.... and I'll find it in 20 years or so (or the day after my VHS player croaks).AIUI, the problem is that, in general, when the music was licensed for older programmes, it was typically just for broadcast - nobody had envisaged things like the sellthru VHS or DVD market so the music often has to be re-licensed for DVD re-release. Where there's a high amount of this in use e.g. China Beach or Tour of Duty, this additional cost can make a DVD release unprofitable.I do indeed have China Men. It's episode 3x08 so it may be a while before we get to that one... That's ok as long as it happens. And we have now reached China Men! And I'll giggle like a silly 13year old girl while watching it.
