This community was set up and is moderated by

Due to the sudden influx of Brits on 
chubbychicks, I decided it was time we should have our own community. So, with the blessing of amythyst I am proud to announce the arrival of chubbychicks' little sister!
The reason for creating a UK-based version of the community is that many of the stories, products, shops and people talked about on chubbychicks are irrelevant to our needs. Hopefully in this community we can discuss the best places to shop, chubby UK celebs, and other things that effect the lives of us UK chubby chicks.
I want to keep this community in the true spirit of the original, so please, please note that this is a size POSITIVE community, so there should be no discussions on weight loss, and no anti-thin people comments. See here for a list of relevant/non-relevant topics for posts, and general rules I'd like to keep here.
Advertising other communities is allowed, but only if we can advertise chubbychicksuk in your community. The communities must also be relevant to members of this one.
I'd also like to point out that any xenophobic behaviour will not be tolerated and non-UK citizens are more than welcome to join.
All pictures and (relevant) quizzes/surveys should be put behind an LJ cut.
Auction postings are allowed, but they MUST be relevant (ie plus size clothing) and long lists/pictures should be behind an LJ cut.
Any ideas and comments about the community are more than welcome, especially links to relevant websites and other LJ communities. I am going to try and build a comprehensive list of links for both of these.
