This community is a place for fans of the game "Chuck, Fuck, and Marry" to play online.

If you're not familiar with Chuck, Fuck, and Marry, or are not yet a fan, go ahead and join us anyway. You'll be a fan pretty quickly, I promise.

The Official Rules to Chuck, Fuck, and Marry

  1. One member posts a list of three people, places, concepts, or what have you. Typically, it's people. They phrase their challenge like this: "Elizabeth Dole, Elizabeth Borden, Elizabeth II—Chuck, Fuck, and Marry!"

  2. The subjects can be related if you like. For example, they can all be members of boy bands, or, like above they can all share a name. Or they can be completely random. Some of those are more fun: "Scooby Doo, George Washington, The Commonwealth of Massachussets—Chuck, Fuck, and Marry!"

  3. Other members of the community select one of the three they'd like to throw off a cliff to his/her/its death (Chuck), one of the three with whom they'd like to have one-time meaningless sex (Fuck), and one of the three with whom they'd like to have a life-long sexless relationship (Marry).

  4. They then post their decisions as comments to the original post, explaining why they picked who they did for each. Like this: "Lizzie Borden I can't trust to not murder me in my sleep, so I'd Chuck her. Elizabeth Dole is old, but Bob Dole uses Viagra, so she's probably still pretty good in the sack, so I'd Fuck her. And Elizabeth II is Queen of England, dead old, and in possession of the Grand Duchy of York, making her the richest woman on Earth, so I'd Marry her, for the money."

  5. You have to pick one of each. If the options are "Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Jessica Simpson", you can't opt to throw all three off the hypothetical cliff. Nor can you throw yourself off the cliff. The game is called "Chuck, Fuck, and Marry", not "Chuck, Fuck, and Marry, and occassionally commit Genocide and/or Suicide".

  6. Before you ask, yes, we know married people can (and sometimes do) have sex. This, however, makes for an extremely boring, unfun game. The whole point is to decide whether someone you fancy is better off as a soulmate (with no sex) or a tumble partner (with no relationship).

  7. Little things like sexual orientation (of the poster or of the subjects), physical capacity (ditto), and being dead/fictional/intangible (which applies to subjects but not so much to the poster), although of great moment in life, matter not in Chuck, Fuck, and Marry. If you are a Strait Dood, and you end up saying you'd Fuck Darth Vader, Chuck Luke Skywalker, and Marry Yoda, know that no one is going to think you've suddenly become gay in real life. Or if we do, we promise not to say so out loud. (but if the thought of having sex with Darth Vader does make you feel like you really are gay, let me know. Three more recruits this month and I win a jet ski! --DAVE)

  8. No personal attacks of other members, no flames, and no flamebaiting. Good natured ribbing is ok, and is encouraged, especially if a member claims they'd Fuck Justin Timberlake for his musical talent.

  9. Off topic posts, including announcments for other communities, will probably be deleted. This is a game, folks.

  10. From time to time, particularly fun or memorable games might be archived to the communities [currently non-existent] website. When this happens, participants will be notified and asked if they'd like to be credited with their contribution or left anonymous. If any participant can't be contacted, their contribution will be posted anonymously.

  11. Try to remember to capitalise Chuck, Fuck, and Marry. No real reason; we just think it looks Cool.

  12. The moderators reserve the right to boot folks who don't play by these rules. Especially with respect to personal attacks or abuse. This community is supposed to be fun, and anyone whose words or actions attempt to make it otherwise is invited to Fuck themself just before they Chuck themself off a cliff and Marry their body to the rocks below.
