3. Would you kindly
not
use non-BioShock characters, or create original characters. The exceptions that have been made existed before 
circusofwhores was created, and if you go breakin' this rule without talking to the mods first, you might end up in Gil's tank.
3a. EVEN THE MOST MINOR OF CHARACTERS ARE ALLOWED.
3b. OCs that expand on generic canon characters (ie Big Daddies, Big Sisters, Little Sisters, splicer models, random security bots, turrets, et cetera) ARE ALLOWED.
4. You can roleplay using a pre-existing journal, as long as it isn't a personal journal. If you don't have one for the character you want to RP, would you kindly create it and join with that? For a list of unplayed characters, see 
gaensemutter's post here. For a directory of current RPers, see fearmyblowtorch's post here.
4a. You are allowed to watch/join with personal journals, but plz refrain from posting.
4b. Same thing goes for other character journals: whether or not they're a non-Bioshock fandom journal, you're still allowed to watch/join as long as you don't post IC.
5. Would you kindly avoid drama? This is intended for lolarious lulz of insanity and perversion. Don't get offended! "In-Character" is the equivalent of a five-year-old's "Coloring in the Lines" so try to stick to character, but don't flip if someone decides to do something insane, like the Ice Man has a sekrit being-fucked-by-an-icicle-fetish or someth- ...well, maybe that one isn't at all out of ...just, you know... nevermind.
