CrazyAssPeople Season 1
The idea: Crazy Ass People is a salute to the reality games seen on the Interweb, whether it be SurvivorBlog, SurvivorCAM, Big Blogger, Puppetmaster, Cam Idol, etc. but with our very own elements and a LiveJournal-spin on the concept.The first game entailed 12 players who fought for a spot through a very strenuous 2-week period, where we had nearly 50 applicants. From there, 9 Judges ("The Divine 9") would judge these folks based on contests which happened once a week.The 12 contestants: nymysys, lizvang, denverguy81, superstar_pig, lynspin, flwrbabe, msbtch, dahliamoon, vortex, fishberryjam, kellybellynet, and pimpinthebox.The Divine 9: stephaniekaye, elsnaibs, caren, violently, carrieann, paigelynn, airborne1, txdevil, and designdiva.The game was originally hosted by alfabettezoupe and koapthesql.The contestants were placed n 2 teams, and whichever team got the better entries for each contest won "immunity" for the week. The team who lost, unfortunately had to vote one of their own off. When we had 8 players left, the tribes merged into 1 team, and it was anyone's game.In a final featuring msbtch, vortex, and superstar_pig, superstar_pig prevailed, and won the one prize he coveted: The red Swingline stapler from elsnaibs.And so ended the season 1 of Crazy Ass People.
CrazyAssPeople Season 2
Mid-July 2003 saw the second coming of CAP. Season 2: The Hunt was a shift in idea for CAP, as the first one was more of an conquer everyone/elimination-style event, which saw some very popular people get toppled that in a lot of ways may have taken the spirit out of the game.This time around however, we were blessed with well over 30 people who wanted to compete, and did. The idea here was to use your mind and your camera to go on 3 separate Scavenger Hunts. The way you got credit was based on points for each activity, where a more difficult or more crazy task would net you more points. The standings were close throughout the entire season, and the Top 7 at the end of the 3rd Hunt went on to the Championship Hunt, where 3 judges appeared and judged the Top 7 on one last challenge for all the marbles. Those 3 judges were lynspin, lizvang, and a very secretive and still unknown judge_x.Season 2's Top 7 were ringgiver, txdevil, jaydlewis, mizmizuno, apb, soulbleed and gingham.After a fierce battle and a TON of laughs throughout the entire season, ringgiver edged out txdevil 2-1 in the judges' voting to win the crown for the Craziest Of Them All in Season 2. What will happen next?
