| | Card Captor Sakura new bluray box was released today, December 18th, in Japan!The cover of the box was supposedly an illustration we already knew about, but...with a twist!The artwork we knew from the previous bluray release was the following:But what we got in this new 2015 version is this:There was actually a "full version" of it @_@ The 1/4 bottom part of the picture had been cropped in the previous bluray box + the sides.That said, now the top part is a bit cut off too ^^; It seems like we won't get to see the actual entire thing until it appears in an artbook...EDIT[19/12/2015]: better preview picture!Tags:artworks, bluray, card captor sakura, clamp, goods, illustrations, merchandise, sakura kinomoto, syaoran li, syaoran&sakura A new bluray box containing 11 bluray discs (the whole series-70episodes) will be released on december 18th, 2015.I was surprised at first when I saw this on amazon japan, because there was already a rather recent bluray release (2012-2013, 3 boxes of blurays), but from the description, it seems like the objective behind it is not doing anything new, but simply making a "more affordable" release...which made me smile, since the official price is still 37000 jpy (=280eur=310usd), though amazon.jp sells it for 30000jpy (you save money with them) but which is, is true, a lot less expensive then buying the 3 boxes released previously.From the picture shared on amazon, it seems like the box's special sleeve to hold the whole series will be the same as the 3rd box released in Dec. 2013: an artwork by Clamp featuring Sakura and Syaoran, drawn specially for the bluray release at the time, and one of my absolute favourite of these 2.Here goes the large version of this illustration (I believe this to be the best scan of this artwork I've personally seen so far):[click to enlarge picture]Tags:artwork, bluray, card captor sakura, clamp, goodies, goods, illustration, merchandise CLAMP member Nanase Ohkawa revealed on her instagram account the color proof of "Tsubasa - WoRLD CHRoNiCLe -" Vol. 1, special edition, on sale Feb. 17.[sources: chibiyuuto - Ohkawa instagram]Gorgeous new picture of Syaoran~EDIT: The full covers of “Tsubasa – WoRLD CHRoNiCLE – Nirai Kanai-hen” Vol. 1 were announced.
