This is the recipe journal of cynnamin. I'm not a gourmet and I don't claim to be. I am, however, a VERY good cook. I'm not a health-nut but I am health-concious. I've been vegetarian and I'm learning about lactose-free cooking. I am a picky eater and have odd reasons for not eating certain things.
One of the greatest joys in my life is FOOD. Another is PREPARING FOOD FOR OTHERS. It fulfills a very basic need that I have - sharing good food and conversation.
I am very willing to try new recipes and I want this community to be an archive of my recipes and other recipes I like.
I will grant posting access to you to post recipes. Here's a couple of things I'd like for you to keep in mind to make this easily searchable so that if you do prepare something, you can comment on the recipe later on.
- Tag your entry with the main ingredients as well as what type of dish it is. Appetizer, entree, meat, etc.
- Organize it sensibly - ingredients first, cooking instructions later. Notes at the bottom!
- If you have a preference on specific brands, please note them with the ingredient.
- If you have cooking or preparation tips in general, please tag it with "cooking tips"
- If it's not YOUR recipe, you got it from a source, please list the source!!
- Have fun!
Feel free to comment and add your impressions of the recipes and if you've got a variation.
The bitch is in the kitchen. That means if I don't like you, I'll remove your access. I'll delete your posts. KEEP THE STUPID SHIT TO YOURSELVES.
