Mainly, we'll be turning down anyone that looks like they have just recently joined, have no/only one journal post, or in other ways might look like a possible bot. Anybody Wanna Run Mythics? Horde Side: Wyrmrest Accord	[Aug. 26th, 2017\|08:41 am]Dear_Gnome: An open letter community for WoW
[Current Mood \|Hopeful] [Current Music	Commander Shepard // Miracle of Sound](Apologies in advance if you see this twice. I also posted to wow_ladies, since there are not very many WoW communities active on LJ these days. Or, well, to be honest, hardly any communities at all.)Hiya! I know the community here has been pretty empty -- starts dusting stuff off -- but I wanted to see if anybody might be interested in running Mythics. See, Life Happened, and my polyfamily has only recently gotten our Hordies up to 110 and geared up relatively decently. We have some quests now to go into Mythics and later Mythic+, and I'd personally like to see about a regular run. Again, this is Horde side, and we play on Wyrmrest Accord; I am the GM for our guild, The Order of Lost Souls. We're open to cross-guild and cross-realm folks, too!My main is a tankadin, my gf's is a hunter, my other gf's a boomkin, and my lovely wife has a boomkin as well (although she is willing to learn to heal if needed). My wife's work schedule is a bit odd. She has Weds, Thurs, and Sun off. Possible combinations are of those days, or of both weekend days with another person to fill in for my wife (although, if it is not ridiculously late, she can likely make it on Saturday). Nothing is set in stone yet!We are both night owls, and we are on Pacific Time. Ideally, we would start no earlier than 7pm PST, and I prefer 8-9pm myself, but I can be convinced. ;)( More info!Collapse )

[Tags\|how rude!]Dear in-game acquaintance,My one true love in this world, the wardrobe, was announced almost a year ago. I squee'd the news to you. All I've been talking about since then is how happy it makes me and how I'll collect all the things into it. I've been reminding everyone to hang on to old mats when leveling alts/timewalking, so they, too, can craft all the things and be happy when the prepatch finally drops.So now, only weeks away from said prepatch, you whisper me to ask if I have old mats. I don't mind giving someone a helping hand here or there, so I ask what you need. Anything I have, really, you say, since you know I "collect shit".screeching haltI'm so deep in the guess end of the ask/guess dichotomy that it's not even funny, but after a cup of tea and some serious side-eyeing, I'm pretty sure even the most happy-go-lucky asker would deem asking an avid collector to drop several banks worth of mats a month before they become really valuable, as the kids these days say, "rude as fuq".Sincerely,the hoarder with a planwho will have the fullest, vastest, most shiniest wardrobe

It is so damp from humidity in here I fear that I may soon grow my own gills and fins. Dear World of Warcraft,I've not been playing you much the last couple weeks, aside from my 3x weekly heroic progression, mostly just because I have had other fun things to do. In fact, I didn't even realize that Timewalking was going on until just yesterday! Dear World of Warcraft,I've not been playing you much the last couple weeks, aside from my 3x weekly heroic progression, mostly just because I have had other fun things to do. In fact, I didn't even realize that Timewalking was going on until just yesterday! So imagine my shock when I logged on earlier, queued up for my first Timewalking... and had the Reins of the Infinite Timereaver drop for me off the very first boss!

[Tags\|how rude!]I have just come back to WoW from a nearly 8 month hiatus.My friend and I were rolling new toons to level together, and I predictibly make what is probably my 30th Worgen, while she makes a Draenei. I meander on my way up to the prison rooftop to have my 2 mins chill time with Mr. Crowley. With no other players in sight, I nuke down the first wave of mobs and pause to type something to my friend as another wave of mobs arrive.During that brief pause, You showed up. After killing the mobs, you then proceed to stand there and chew me out for not helping, immediately concluding that I'm too lazy to be bothered with anything, and what a joy I'll be during the Battle for Gilneas. You then continue on a tirade about how you miss "the old days" when "people liked to have fun in this game" while I'm standing there speechless.We're both in full heirlooms, these mobs hit with all the force of a spring breeze, and mobs killed does nothing to move the timer along faster. Many players don't bother fighting the mobs here, and I don't care, because it doesn't effect me in any way. That being said, your feeling justified in judging and cursing me out over this 5 second observation is just mind boggling. I very much enjoy having fun in this game, but it's difficult to do so sometimes with assholes like you running around. Obviously the irony of your own actions escaped you entirely.Seriously, who pissed in your Cheerios this morning?Eye Rolling DruidPS - GG on ignoring me in case I had the nerve to say something in response to your righteously indignant ass. Make sure to report me too. I'm such a horrible person.

Awesome.However.The rest of us are not obligated to run on our mythic geared mains all the time so that you can enjoy your off-off-off-spec instant tank/healer queue without having to know or do jack shit.Us "losers and nerds" do not owe you a free boost through everything that happened over the year. You already got some nice cookies and woollen socks from the Winter Veil presents, enjoy those.Sincerely,the Grinch-y warlock(busily pulling her pets on a sled!)
