I'm a Danish national now living in the small town of Port Townsend, WA. I'm a writer and creative slacker, as well as an eternal student of love, connecting, relationships and the human condition.

I am an HSP-- Highly Sensitive Person, as described by Elaine Aron-- and write fairly extensively about about this particular topic. I often rail against society's tendency to "medicalize" and "pathologize" anything that's considered to be "not normal." I believe the range of human experience is very wide, and that walking "the path less traveled" should not result in individuals being labeled as being "ill." There is room for all of us here. Much of my writing centers around suggested ways to "live as we are," rather than putting so much effort into "becoming" watered-down versions of ourselves, in service of somehow being more socially acceptable to the "majority."

I am in the process (eternally "ongoing," it seems) of completely overhauling my web site, and currently have an "old" version up... apologies for that, but it will at least give you an idea of what I am about.
