**Welcome!**Hello, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the dl_ldws! We are a Harry Potter drabble writing community devoted to the ultimate of adorable pairings: Draco Malfoy and Luna Lovegood!Our community is essentially one big contest, in which 6-10 writers compete in a Round that lasts a minimum of six weeks. Every week a prompt will be issued, and our competitors will have to submit a drabble of their own, of variable length. Then community members and non-members will be invited to vote upon the drabbles, selecting their favorite ones!Each successive week the writer with the lowest amount of votes will be eliminated until we have ourselves a Last Drabble Writer Standing! rules modeled after the wonderful dg_ldwsATTENTION/WARNING: This journal welcomes all ratings, and therefore may include adult content. Join at your own risk. We, the mods of dl_ldws therefore absolve ourselves from any blame concerning underage users accessing our work. Thank you. **Rules:**1. Please join the community before signing up as a competitor for a Round. We wouldn’t want you to miss a deadline because you weren’t able to see our reminders.2. Prompts are issued Friday afternoons and are due by Midnight (PST) Wednesday of the following week. Anyone who fails to turn in a prompt is eliminated. However, special circumstances do exist: contact one of the mods immediately if something comes up.3. Prompts are anonymous, and should not be shown to anyone (not counting beta) until voting has concluded. If any of the competitors or community members are found directly posting about a specify entry, they will be eliminated and/or blocked from the community.4. Voting will begin as soon as all entries have been received and will last until Friday.5. Drabbles of all ratings are welcomed. However, we do not support drabbles involving a sexual relationship between a minor (younger than 18) and an adult, so please do not submit drabbles of that nature. Otherwise, as long as the entry pertains to the prompt and at least mentions both of the characters, anything goes.6. Competitors must always vote, and never for themselves.7. At the end of each prompt, one of the mods will select their favorite drabble, and that drabble will be rewarded “Mod’s Choice”. The winner of "Mod's Choice" has immunity for that round.8. Everyone in the community is invited to submit a response to the prompt, whether they are competing for that Round or not.9. Drabbles can be re-written and re-submitted up to three times up to the final submission date.
