INTRO

Hello and welcome to the LJ community for the fandom of DMFA, a popular webcomic by Amber M. Panyko, which can be found here. Originally based off of the MMORPG Furcadia, DMFA has now branched off into it's own comic for the furre fandom, though most of the characters are still based off of real people's furcadia characters.

RULES

1. Keep it DMFA related. All topics are to be related to DMFA in some manner, meaning you can talk about the latest goings on in the comic, characters, theories, etc. However, you cannot talk about anything outside of DMFA. This means no talking of political things, Furcadia in general (unless it's a DMFA related happening), other webcomics, etc. It's common sense to know what's DMFA-related and what isn't.
2. Don't let flame wars arise! While it's great to discuss things, there is a fine line between discussing and fighting. Flaming would be calling someone names, TYPING IN ALL CAPS AT THEM, or saying a rude comment about them. While I don't expect you to be perfect angels, you should know your limits.
3. Watch your language. There may be children or people who think swearing is nasty at this community. While we allow most swears, try to keep it on the downlow. You may use it, just not major ones. Some may be viewing at work or with their parents near. While I will use this rule loosely, it is still something you should be weary of.
4. Don't be disgusting! None of us want to know about that sleazy dream you had about Jyrras and Dan, or any other profanity. We accept pairings of any kind, but there is to be no talk of detailed "it" (you should know what I mean). While you can loosely mention the word in passing, spare us the details.

FANFICTION, ICON, AND FANART RULES

Icons

1. Icon posts. Icon posts with more then 3 icons are to be put under an LJ cut. Please be respective of dial-up computers and people who generally don't want their computer bogged down with icons. There are no exceptions of this rule. If you don't know how to make an LJ cut, don't post your icons here.
2. Amber's artwork ONLY. You are not to post icons of anyone but Amber's art, as some people may not like you using their fanart. So to avoid the unwritten art thievery law of the internet, the only icons you will be making will be of Amber's artwork.
3. DMFA-related. Your icon post must have at least some or all DMFA icons. This means you may not count pictures of Amber's other characters as "DMFA icons". DMFA, and only DMFA. Whether it be sketches of DMFA Amber has done, character profiles, or the actual comic, it must have been on the DMFA site at one point or another. No exceptions.

Fanart

1. Must be your own artwork. Everything you post here must be your own artwork. So you cannot post that picture your friend drew at your house, or a random picture on the web and claim it as yours. If you did do it, we will find out about it at some point or another.
2. Be respectful, leave warnings. If there is any yaoi/shounen-ai, yuri/shojo-ai, or anything else that you think may need a warning for, please leave it. While you may think it's fine and dandy, not everyone shares your opinion.
3. Leave artwork under a cut. All art must be kept under an LJ cut, especially those warn-worthy. Again, dial-up computers don't mix well with big or lots of images, and as said before, if you don't know how to make a cut you shouldn't be posting your art here.
4. No pornography. No porno! This means no pictures of characters going at it, pictures of character's manly or womanly bits, or anything of that sort. Please try to keep it as PG-rated as possible.

Fanfiction

1. Must be your own work. Everything you post here must be your own artwork. So you cannot post that fanfic you found on some site or your friend wrote at your house and claim it as yours. If you did not do it, we will find out about it at some point or another.
2. Be respectful, leave warnings. If there is any yaoi/shounen-ai, yuri/shojo-ai, or anything else that you think may need a warning for, please leave it. While you may think it's fine and dandy, not everyone shares your opinion.
3. Leave it under a cut. Any fanfiction should be kept under a cut, especially those warn-worthy. It's annoying to have to scroll down past a huge post, plus someone may get caught in the middle of it and get confused. You may post small snippets of your fanfic outside the cut, but keep the rest under the cut.
4. No "smut" or "lemons". There is to be no descriptive talks of "it" what-so-ever. The fanfiction is not to exceed the R rating, meaning it may not be NC-17/X. You may make vague references, and these are called "limes" and are perfectly okay as long as you leave a warning, but "lemons" (description of "it") are not tolerated.
