The representatives of university libraries from around the world gathered at Aalto University Helsinki, Finland in June 2014 for the 35th IATUL Conference to discuss the current events and challenges in the library field. The main themes of the conference were measures of success and scrutinizing the effectiveness of library resources. Other themes of the conference were open access and open data, information security, bibliometrics, service design and information literacy. Over 180 delegates from 29 different countries participated in the conference.
