DMBA-induced mammary control tumors showed mostly poorly differentiated growth with high cellularity and marked nuclear pleomorphism (B). After HBO treatment, a majority of the cases appeared to have a more differentiated morphology, with glandular structures and less marked cellular atypia and showed large areas of cell death (C).
