Arterial hypertension is one of the leading causes of mortality, but a combination of high blood pressure with other nosological forms is increasingly common. The article considers pathogenetic and clinical commonality of arterial hypertension with thyroid gland diseases, diabetes mellitus, obesity and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Better understanding of syntropia is associated with increase of comorbid conditions diagnosis and treatment efficacy.
