Resumen

Las clasificaciones científicas de las plantas y animales cuyos nombres figuran en este trabajo fueron actualizadas, hasta donde fue posible, por los investigadores Néstor Uscátegui Mendoza, del Instituto Colombiano de Antropología, y el Presbítero Antonio Olivares, del Instituto de Ciencias Naturales de la Universidad Nacional.
