73 STEVE PERRY / JOURNEY ICONS !!!	[20 Aug 2007\|01:23am]
[ mood \| creative ] PLEASE READ:So last time I posted a batch of Steve Perry / Journey icons, I posted 135. Now, I know it's a lot, but I figured it was a special thing... I spent weeks on those, but for some reason I got less comments than usual. Was there a problem loading them? I would assume that by now most of you are on high-speed internet [even though I'm not - I have dial-up, ugh], so I didn't think that would be a problem. I know I say you don't have to comment, but I really would like to know what you think about these especially since I spent so much time on them - so I ask that if anyone missed out on the last post of 135, that they go check it out HERE and leave a comment, please, if it's not too much trouble - just to tell me what you think and / or give constructive criticism, even if you don't take any. It would be so much appreciated! I don't want to feel like no one is taking these icons - because I know you are. So if anything, do it for Steve! (^_^)And now on this next batch. I have 73 for you guys tonight - it's mostly Escape-era Steve, a of few ROR and Frontiers-era Steve, and lots of Steve+Neal [dare I say, a.k.a. "Sneal"? ^_^ ], plus three Neal icons. See if you can tell that I've been working on my "Photoshop skills" [even though, as I've said, I don't use Photoshop] - and PLEASE let me know what you think! And YES, there are some funny ones, if you were wondering. Aren't there always?ENJOY !!!♥ No credit necessary.♥ You don't have to comment, but we both know I'd love it if you did. Please do! I want to know which ones are your favorites.♥ Feel free to use any of my icons as bases or textures - and you can add anything to want to them, I don't mind one bit!♥ Some people say not to use their icons on any other websites, but of course you can use mine wherever you want and for whatever reason.♥ You can also feel free to friend me if you like these so you don't miss any future updates in my journal. There're a ton of Journey group icons, some Jonathan Cain and Neil Schon, and even one each of Gregg Rolie, Aynsley Dunbar, and Steve Smith. I have several Steve+Neil icons, as well as several "Essential Journey" [that's Steve, Neil and Jonathan] icons, and the usual amount [or maybe more!] of silliness. I love them all and I really hope you enjoy these as well! I put a lot of effort into this batch - and tried out a lot of new styles. Hope you take TONS!!! [My apologies to those of you who I've just offended or caused to fall out of their chair in a fit of hysterical laughter.]I've made 202 - yes, two-hundred and two!!! - Steve Perry icons for you. "It's insane", you might say, but I should tell you. It was _oh so much fun._So anyway, 202? That's a bit too much for me to post at once, especially considering that I'm on dial-up and it would take hours. So what I'm gonna do is post this first part of BATCH 4 of my SP ICONS, which are mostly the first ones I made a while back in this particular batch. Consequently, a few of them are my least favorites. But since I can't bear the thought of deleting something with SP on it, I'm posting them anyway, because maybe it's just me - after all, I'm kinda picky about certain things - and maybe you guys will actually like them a lot, despite the fact that I think they're mediocre. But enough about those few - I do happen to like most of these that I'm posting, so don't set yourselves up for disappointment just yet.[The next batch will prove to be more promising when I post them, as I've been honing certain new icon-making skills of which I am incredibly proud, thankyouverymuch. I know you'll love them - and the other band members show up a lot more than usual - {like, a lot} - and there are even just a few solo Jonathan Cain [hott!] and Neil Schon [hott!] icons, as well as one each of Aysnley Dunbar [hott!] and Gregg Rolie. :) ]Enough of my yammering on.Now that you've read this lovely story, it's time to pay homage to the one, the only, THE VOICE. ♥♥ No credit necessary ♥ You don't have to comment, but we both know I'd love it if you did. Well, it doesn't look like shit. But it also doesn't look like Sarah's pages, sadly.We can publicly poke the hAtErZ and giggle when they yell. They can't post, but they can email the DC address and regale us with poorly spelled dissertations on how misunderstood they are. Oh, and eventually maybe we can talk about Perry too.
