April 8th, 1990

I have awoken in a very strange place, the last thing I do remember is having a drink with my lovely wife Linia, although that could mean this was all a hallucination cuased by the strange effects of the scotch...

Or so...I wish I could think that. It was been quite a few days since I have found myself on this strange and dangerous land of Light and Darkness. I was only so lucky to have managed to procure myself food and relative shelter. I say I am a very lucky man to have landed near these ruins. It seems as though this place was far beyond it's time then we can ever imagine, at first I can remembering turning back to when I was but a lad, always enchanted with my Scifi Stories of Aleins and Heroic men who risked there lives daily to protect us from the terrible brutes.

But then...I saw it...The Creatures. Everywhere they appeared surrounding this place, it had seemed that it had a clever force feild about it, I have been training though, always in fear that one day it will fall. I do hope I will reach Linia one day, but till then I do beleive I will explore this area...

Still I have not returned...But I have found a good way to avoid the sickening feelings of Home sickness and have started to recreate the town using the supplies I have found in a underground bunker. Also there I have found a ship...At first I was not so sure what it is but the maker had cleverly hidden his notes about the creation from whatever demolished this place. I do think one day I can get it working and then fetch my wife and children and we can live here, it is a very beautiful place...And the air if refreshing, this could solve some of the many population problems we have been facing back home.

Ronald was the founder of Dusk Village who one day did indeed manage to get back to his wife and children but shortly afterwards died, his wish though was to be buried under the town hall which was the first thing he had rebuilt along with a marble fountain with some playful magic. At night the water would turn into the richest of Red Whine, and during the day it would be like drinking from a spring. Some say if you wished near this fountain your wish would come true.

And others say that the world itself granted certain wishes, for when you even think about wanting to get away you would be whisked to Duck Village. It was a place for run aways and Outcasts, for people who wanted a new start or a beggining, for those who just needed a change, and others no one knew why they had appeared. For this was a Village of Magic, mystery and most of all...

It was a Place of Enchantment
