Welcome! My name is Eileen Donovan and I write fanfiction in the Queer as Folk (QAF) fandom, specifically, Brian Kinney/Justin Taylor stories since I am a dedicated B/J shipper. :) This is my main journal where the

majority

of my Queer as Folk fic can be found.

As an unpublished novelist working on revisions to my current novel, I did research into the gay lifestyle because one of the characters in the novel was bi-sexual. I knew nothing about Queer as Folk because I've never had premium cable, but it sounded interesting so I ordered Season One on Amazon. Of course, you know the rest--I was hooked! I started writing B/J fan fic in March of 2006 after I'd watched Seasons 1-4. I've been working on it ever since, and, yeah, the novel has been forgotten! I'm old enough to know better, a mother, grandmother, writer, researcher in my R/L who's become a big B/J shipper.

After writing B/J stories for over ten years, I've recently branched out into The Martian and Jason Bourne fandoms and will be posting them at AO3. I'm excited by this new challenge!
