This site was created as a result of a lack of search results when looking for Elliot Cowan in the LJ universe. I've seen comms for many other fine actors, but none for Elliot. Thus...this comm was born. As this community is very small — and the mod is only one person — please do not expect to find a mass of posts. If you want a more active place to chat about Elliot, the above-mentioned message board ECC is your place. But that's not to say you shouldn't join this community too! ;)

Elliot's probably best known for his work as Ptolemy in Oliver Stone's Alexander and more recently as Mr. Darcy in ITV's Lost In Austen. His various television roles include Agatha Christie's Poirot, BBC's Egypt, Foyle's War and Jonathan Creek. He has acted on the London stage in various plays from The Revenger's Tragedy to William Shakespeare's Henry V, and more recently in Tennessee Williams's A Streetcar Named Desire at the Donmar and Macbeth at The Globe Theatre.

Elliot was most recently seen playing the role of Lord Goring in Oscar Wilde's An Ideal Husband at Vaudeville Theatre in London from November 10, 2010 through February 26, 2011.

This community is open to everyone. Members may post news, photos, fanart (e.g., icons, desktop wallpaper, layouts), and videos...or just general SQUEE-ment over Mr. Cowan. The mod can't run this place on her own, so PLEASE, if you have the slightest bits of Elliot news/pics to share, do so!
