Like all stillness communities, even in this one you will get a new challenge or two each week. If there are not enough entries that week the deadline will be extended. As you might have guessed from the title, in this community you will only get pictures featuring and elf/elves and related from the Lord of the Rings. Disclaimer: I did not come up with the idea of a „stillness“ community.
1. All icons must be LJ standard size (which means 100x100 pixels or smaller and under 40kb)
2. Your submissions cannot be animated and only new icons (made just for the challenge) may be submitted.
3. Your submissions must remain anonymous. You cannot use your icon anywhere until the voting is over.
4. Please do not tell your friends to vote for you, it’s not worth it!
5. Unless stated, you may submit two icons each.
6. No outside blending permitted, you are only to use the picture given. Other than that, you are encouraged to use brushes, effects, text, textures etc.
7. Picture will be given on Mondays, and your icons are expected to be in on Saturday by midnight GMT, the latest! Voting will be up on Saturday.
8. The winners (1st…2nd…3rd) and mod’s choice will be announced Sunday or Monday 8 p.m. GTM
9. Have fun!
Save the picture at the beginning of the week to your computer, when done with your two icons, submit them in a comment to the post of the picture, all comments will be screened, in IMG form with the URL under it. Example:

Banners will be made as soon as possible after the results are announced. Banners will be made for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, place as well as for Mod’s choice (Elven Grace). If there are a lot of entries there might as well be more categories. That will be announced when the voting takes place. You are expected to vote for your favourite two icons, unless stated otherwise.
