¤ A B O U TSimply speaking, esca_icontest is a community open to all LJ users and icon makers, who love the brilliant and classic anime series, 天空のエスカフロネ (Tenkuu no Escaflowne // Vision of Escaflowne). Every week there will be a theme for icon creators to design and submit an icon. Themes can vary from a single word, quote, lyrics, or even set images. Members then can vote for their favorite three and possibly a special category. There may even be a moderators choice.
¤ R U L E So1. Join the community.o2. Members can submit one icon per theme unless otherwise specified, as long as they are compatible with LJ requirements (100x100 pixels, 40kb max).o3. Images used can be from the tv series, movie, special edition manga, or even the character designer's doujinshi books. Images from the Shoujo manga may be used. The Shounen version is vastly different and will not be allowed unless theme relates to that particular one. Also, no fanart is allowed.o4. You may *not* vote for your own icon or ask others to vote for yours.o5. Please do not post your icon anywhere else until voting has concluded. o6. Please let your icon be fresh. Your icon should have been solely made for this icontest and should not be more than 7 days old upon submission.o7. Don't forget, above all, have fun! Submission deadline is each Wednesday at 11pm CST. New theme will be posted every Wednesday.
¤ V O T I N GVoting will commence at 11pm CST or later on Wednesday and end on approximately 11pm CST on Friday. Voting will be either via screened comments or polls.
