Highlighting great sellers on Etsy - not yourself, of course!


This community aims to provide exposure for Etsy sellers. Please feel free to join and post about something you've bought from Etsy, a particular seller that has caught your eye or any specific item or seller you think deserves to be in the limelight!Anyone may join and post, so post a lot! There are, however, some rules in order to prevent havoc from plaguing the community. They're really simple, so don't panic!Please do not post images that are larger than 550px by 550px. Anything larger than this must be put behind a cut tag, like so: [ your image here ] Please do not hotlink images directly from Etsy's site. I'm sure the Etsy boys (& girl!) have enough to worry about with us swiping all their images! Websites such as Flickr, Photobucket and ImageShack are free, easily accessible and the perfect places to upload photos to post in the community.Please DO NOT POST SALES ADVERTISEMENTS! There are literally hundreds of other communities on LJ that are aimed towards selling. Please keep those kind of post out of here. Some Etsy specific communities are shopetsy and etsy_lj.This should be a given, but don't feature yourself! Try to promote other shops besides your own. A short post about someone's shop will probably make their day.Do not bash, flame or otherwise troll around in this community! There is no need for people to be mean, rude and just vicious to other Etsy's sellers. We want to keep this community positive, so that people can feel comfortable featuring other seller's work. We want to help promote other talented Etsy sellers, not bring them down. If you pick fights, bash other members or sellers or their items, or are just exceptionally rude, you will recieve a warning. Do it again and I will beat you with the BANNED bat. ;)The final & most important rule: have fun!
