Are you in a complete, full-body, full-mind, giddy lovey dovey rub-it-in-your-face relationship? Are you
completely in love with your SO, so much you can't even comprehend the existance of anyone else being that right for you? Are your friends annoyed by how much you talk about it? This is the community for you! Ex mente tota, "all my soul," is a community dedicated to those who are completely and totally in love -- and happy about it! Come here with stories and pictures and wedding invitations, icons (only pertaining to love), lyrics (again, only pertaining to love), dedications, and anything else you can even begin to comprehend!
GUIDELINES
Basic:
No one below the age of 14 may join as a poster. I only say this because there should be at least somewhat mature posts in this community. I am not at all saying those below this age cannot fall in love, just that this is not the community for them. (Note that the poster must be 14; if the poster's SO is below, that is fine.) You and your SO must have known each other for at least three months (as friends or as a couple). You also must currently be together (dating, engaged, married, etc).
Posting: I spent time making up the beautiful love survey so it can be posted, not ignored. Fill it out with your answers as your first post to this community.
Everyone who posts must fill out the survey completely. This means every questions must be anwered.
This is NOT a rating community; we will NOT be "rating" your love or deciding for you whether or not you actually are in love, but I have this here in order to keep my OCD habits happy (in other words, the members list organized). On a side note to the survey, it would be nice if we could actually read it. Preferably, make the questions bold. For instructions on how to do this, please visit here. Please put the lj-cut tag in for pictures above 300x240 pixels, lyrics, icons, and long descriptive entries. This includes the survey above. Have some kind of grasp of the English language. Dun type leik this!!! Typos are okay, of course, and we're not going to be Grammar-Nazis, but if the mods cannot understand the majority your post, it will be deleted.
Content of posts: Please don't make this a "lyric community." I personally usually skip over lyric entries because for the most part, they don't actually have any real content. If you are going to post lyrics, post also an explanation of why -- If the song had any significant meaning to your relationship, explain why. If the song is "your song," explain how it came to be so. Or if you feel so inclined, suggest a list of love songs and excerpt a few lines from each. Have fun with it, be creative! This is not an "icon community" either. We are all very creative in our own ways and I like to encourage it, but there are plenty of other communities for huge amounts of this. I'd even go so far as to say that holidays (Christmas, V-Day, Thanksgiving, etc) are the only times there should be excessive amounts of icon posting. Also note that all icons must be related to TRUE LOVE; not lust, not "I love this celebrity!" Please none of those "there are some love icons here, but there are also some cat ones too." All displayed icons must be pertaining to the subject of the community; feel free to link out to your other works. This is a DRAMA FREE community. Love is happiness and joyfulness and this is the wanting to read/share about/with others. Don't be rude about someone's post and do not ever accuse someone of "not being in love." First off, you are only getting one side of the story, and second, some people are not as expressive as other people. Just because she can only think to say "he is cute and I like the way my hand tingles when he touches me" does not mean she is any less in love than you are. Commenters who make such accusations will immediately be banned. Pictures are welcomed! Of you and your loved one, you alone in your house or with your puppy or him/her with the cat -- any pictures! However, if they are above 300-width by 240-height pixels in size, you must put them behind a cut. No nude pictures and nothing too excessively off topic. Stories, experiences, events, art, websites -- Anything else is acceptable! These guidelines are only so descriptive because the mod who wrote them is a writer; do not be hesitant to join based only on them!
The rest:
As I mentioned above, this is NOT a rating community so do not come here thinking it is. I don't quite understand how people think they can decide whether or not you are in love, and I really hated that most of the "love rating" communities had rules like "you must be between the ages of 19-25 to be in love." What are they going to do when they exceed that age? The survey is for the members' list purpose only; you do not have to wait for an "approved stamp" to start posting.
This is a community for sharing love stories and happiness, even holiday funtime recipes to surprise the SO with. Please do not post upsetting things. We all know that it isn't perfect all the time, but this isn't the place for the unhappinesses.
You can talk about sex, of course, but you both MUST be above 18 to do so. It's a preference thing more than anything; I just don't want to read about a 16 year old doing a 14 year old. Also, keep it relatively clean and pertaining most to why you felt the need to share it with the community (for example, "we made love for the first time today, and I knew for positive he is the right one." instead of "OMG we had sex and it was hot."). It would be nice if you could post a warning in the subject and put it in a cut, but it is not required. If you would like to post about more detailed things or ask for tips, please head over to 
sextips. I've found it to be a very good resource.
If you are having a problem with one of the members, do not fight with them in the comments; simply take your complaint to one of the mods and it will be discussed and taken care of.
Please promote this community! It is not required to join, but the only way it will grow is to do this! Also, feel free to create promotion banners for the community! Also, you may promote other communities only if they are related to this community's subject matter. Also, NO "only promotion" posts. You must have filled out the survey, and your post must contain some other significant amount of content with it. Promotion posts that do not fit this requirement will be deleted by one of the mods.
Oh yeah, and, "SO" means "significant other." :p

(think characters: Romeo & Juliet, Arwen & Aragorn, Beren & Luthien; or think real life: Abigail & John Adams, Napoleon & Josephine, Voltaire & Olympe Dunover, etc and so on)
The Love: How did you two meet? List some things about him/her that makes you totally adore him/her. Something romantic/sweet you have done for him/her: Something romantic/sweet he/she has done for you: Are you thinking about marriage at all? Or do you have any other dreams? Have you talked about having children? Have you thought about names, and if so, what are they? Share a story about anything (what you two did the other day, the first time you said "I love you," about your kids, anything!). Let us into a secret fantasy you have (preferably not sexual, something like a dream date or the perfect evening). Have you met his/her family? How do you all get along? If there is only one thing that possibly could (but doesn't!) hold you back, what is it (major difference in thinking, ideals, etc and so on)? Do you two have any traditions? Explain something that makes your relationship so perfect. (We know there are like 5 million things, just pick one and analyze it!) Do you two have a song? If so, which one? Why exactly is this your song?
