Earrings! One of my favourite things to make, as they don't take very long, and I love my earrings. The ones pictured here are two different lengths - the longer earrings don't work as well, I think, because they are threaded onto a piece of wire that bends slightly. As shorter earrings it looks fine, but as longer ones I think it looks a little strange.
I use silver plated earring hooks, I can also get stainless steel ones if you have a problem with plating. I'm currently looking for a supplier that sells silver or allergy proof metal, haven't found one yet.
You can see the earring wire I use here, and the hooks I use here.
Longer earring:
Shorter earring:
Please specify which you want. The longer earring uses the whole length of the earwire. The shorter one probably about 3/4.

£4 / $8

Onto the earrings!

Apologies for the blurriness of some of these pictures - my camera has been acting up lately. When it improves, I'll replace them with better versions.
Please note, you can see all the different colour beads I currently have in my possession here. Please feel free to request any necklaces or bracelets you might like, and I'll do my best to make them for you (and obviously will tell you if I can't).

Ok, these are all the bracelets that I've made. They're all made from memory wire, which means that they're a certain shape and will hold that shape. I haven't yet made any bracelets with SoftFlex wire, although it's certainly possible, and it's something I'll be doing in the future. I like the memory wire style, though.
These bracelets come in two widths - one fits more snugly, one is looser. Personally I prefer the looser fit, it's more like a bangle, and it definitely works better for chunkier pieces. Others prefer the tighter fit, some because of personal taste, others, like my friend, because they have skinny-ass wrists.
Loose fit:
The loose fit is about 2.5 inches measured across.
Tight fit:
The tight fit is about 2 inches measured across. I'm going to find a better picture of this soon.
I would love for you to request a bracelet made with SoftFlex, as I haven't yet had a chance to make any with it. My only concern though is that with the current clasps I am using, they would be difficult to do up solo. If I get requests for them, though, I will get some other types of clasp.

So, excitingly, I've discovered a new way to make necklaces. I think it will be more popular than the memory wire that I've been using previously - I've actually changed all the memory wire necklaces I had into this type, because I prefer them. They're made using a thin type of wire called SoftFlex, they're soft and bendy (to use the technical term) but they don't kink (there is a similar type of wire called Tiger Tail, but that does kink if it gets bent). These are fastened to a barrel clasp with tiny crimp beads, so they're fairly sturdy - I mean, I wouldn't recommend pulling them really hard, but they should be pretty sturdy. Best of all, the length is completely optional.
All the ones pictured here are about the same length, because they're made for me, and I like my necklaces pretty tight. They're about 16 inches long, which is about 40 centimetres. This is how that length looks, as modelled by me:
This will be the standard length for these necklaces. If you want a longer one, it may cost extra (this type of wire would work with the longer type of necklaces that are fashionable at the moment, but as that kind of necklace would be double the length, it would also be double the cost... seeing as it would be double the beading work).

- where possible I have also linked you to the original memory wire version of the necklace. These are generally identical, just with different wire.
- I have also linked you to the original photo taken, before I improved the quality on my computer. Sometimes in the darker version you get a better idea of the colours and shapes of the beads.

Here is my selection of beads - most people like to request my own combination, especially if they're having a necklace or bracelet set (you're probably gonna have several hundred beads, it's kind of hard to choose exactly what's going in there, it's better just to go 'Make it turquoise!' or 'Make it reds and oranges!' y'know?). With earrings, you're probably only going to have five or six beads, if that, so you could specifically ask for something. Or you can just look at this and go 'Oh, you have a lot of orangey beads, I want an orangey set!' Which is kind of more what this is here for. Vague reference.
