Welcome to faith_slash, the home of anything femslash involving Faith from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel the Series. Anything involving Faith femslash is welcome: fiction, icons, drabbles, essays, fiction challenges, etc. Any Faith pairing is accepted, including cross-overs, as long as Faith is part of the main couple.
Please read the rules before joining and/or posting!
Discussions are more than welcome. However, flaming and trolls will not be permitted. After the first complaint or trollish behavior, you will get banned. Also, do NOT advertise any other community here. If you think it is something that is very related to Faith and/or femslash, ask the mod, cadence_k FIRST. Or it will be deleted. Very quickly.
Drabble challenges will be posted every Friday. You will have until the following Friday to post any responses, when a new challenge will be posted. Drabbles can be anywhere up to 500 words. This is not just a drabble community, though. The drabbles are just to get you writing if you need some inspiration. You can post a fic of any length.
Feel free to post any fics here, but please use spellcheck. There is nothing more annoying than trying to read something with several spelling mistakes. Similarly, betas are very helpful, especially for longer fics. If you want someone to look over a fic, just ask. It’s always better to get a second pair of eyes on something before you post it.
Put all fics and icons under an lj-cut. If you don’t know how to do that, go here.
It helps if you give the reader an idea of what she can expect before opening the link. Here is an example:
Title: Blind Leading the Blind
Rating: R
Pairing: Faith/Anya
Summary: The night before the battle, Faith and Anya make out.
Length: 650 words
Also, if you are responding to a challenge, please include the name of that challenge as well as the person who issued it.
A word about feedback. Everyone wants it. It makes the work and time of writing worth it. So, if you read something, give feedback. The more feedback you give, the more likely you are to receive some when you post.
Warning: Femslash means that female characters will be paired with other female characters in a romantic or sexual manner. If this is offends you, this community is not for you. Back away slowly and hope no one noticed you.
Disclaimers: I don’t own Faith or any of the characters from BtVS or AtS. They are the sole property of Joss Whedon and Mutant Enemy. We just play with them for fun. Don’t sue us.
