The Fandom Limerick Project is designed for people to have fun in their fandoms. Each fandom represented here will run a limerick contest once a year. The basic format is:

1. The specific fandom is announced about a week before submissions open.

2. Participants may submit limericks for 1-2 weeks.

3. Nominations open.

4. Voting opens.

5. Winners are posted.

Banners and winners are posted only to encourage limerick writing. You don't have to be a poet to enter, you just need to have a love for your fandom.

You don't have to be a poet!

The only requirement of fandom_limerick is that you write a 5 line poem that follows the AABBA rhyme scheme. However, if you'd like to go all out, a helpful How to Write a Limerick can be found at eHow.com here.
