I'm less than a year away from finishing my undergrad degree and job-hunting is looming on the horizon. In particular, I will be going to a career fair in three weeks and I have nothing to wear. (Grad school is Plan A, but I'll definitely get interview practice out of the whole experience and make my parents happy.) I'll be interviewing for finance-ish jobs, so full-out business attire is a must. Has anyone seen any nice suits floating around on the internets? I'm tall (5'11") and pear-shaped (16 on top, 22 on bottom), which makes life much more exciting. Also...heels or flats?(x-posted to fatshionista)

I have zero advice on the suit. (sorry) but on the shoes, I'd probably wear flats. If it's a career fair, your feet will probably be killing you. Plus, I hate to say it, I have noticed that a lot of times when I've been on an interview, especially if i've been sitting, there's a... blanching... when I stand up. I try to de-emphasize my tendency to tower as much as possible (and I'm slightly shorter than you)-- but YMMV.Um, 'stateside or Canada?Tall Girl is advertising that they are carrying up to 22 now.Tall Crest shoes in Canada for shoes.And check out my local, stylish fave, www.longlegs.ca, although they are only carrying up to 20.
