WELCOME to FIREFLYTES, my own contribution to eljay's rapidly growing comic trend. FIREFLYTES was "officially" started august 1st 2005, though it was in the works for about a week before that. FIREFLYTES is a tiny comic based on the genius that is joss whedon's tv series "firefly," and all of it's wacky, wonderful characters.


CAN I USE THIS ART TO MAKE GRAPHICS?
of course! i'd love to see my little doodles all over, and you can use them for icons, friends only banners, or whatever you want, but only if you credit fireflytes for the artwork.

CAN I JOIN THIS COMMUNITY?
no, you can't. the only member is me, captainoats, the comic's author. if you want to see the comics on your friends page, just ad fireflytes as a friend.

HOW DO YOU MAKE THESE COMICS?
well, i drew a little blobby body in psp 8 and it just sort of came to life. i have basic bodies for each of the main characters, which i can then edit in any way i need for the comic.

WHAT FONT DO YOU USE?
the font in all of the comics and in the header and default icon is century gothic, in all caps, bolded. all of the comics use the font in size 5 text for the dialogue.

CAN WE BE AFFILIATES?
surely! if you have an eljay comic (about anything, really), just comment on this entry and let me know about it. i'd love some affiliates.

CAN I SUGGEST AND IDEA FOR A COMIC?
go right ahead - i wont guarentee that i'll use your idea, but i'd love some new ones anyway. if i do use your idea, i'll credit you. to give me your ides, comment here.
